The textured white glaze was used to create a rearing horse on one side and a cat with bushy whiskers on the other. The cat has two green glass eyes and the horse has a turquoise one. Even the base, the pulled spout and the applied arched handle are covered in lava. There is a smoothed area on the bottom with \"17\/730 MADE IN ITALY\" written in black.
