Framed Folk Art Farm Scene Painting

This charming folk art painting on stretchered canvas features a farmyard scene with lots of detail. A farmer is chopping branches with an axe while his faithful dog looks on in the fenced yard of their stone-sided home. A flock of chickens and a rooster are along the fence line between the house and shed. Behind the house are three tall juniper trees, set against a hazy sky with birds in flight. Fields stretch out to the horizon.

The painting is set into a handmade box frame made of fir that's stained a warm brown. The framed measurements are 10 1/2 inches by 12 1/2 inches by 7/8 inch deep. It's signed lower right and dated 84 and is in excellent condition with no tears or stains. The artwork can be hung or propped on a shelf or stand. Wherever you place it, it adds a great folk art touch to any room.
