Bay Head, NJ Centennial English Enamel Trinket Box
Crummles and Company, founded in the mid-1970's in Dorset, England, produced this beautiful round trinket box in 1986. Enameled on copper and hand painted, it is a commemorative box celebrating the Centennial of Bay Head, New Jersey, founded in 1886. The illustrations on it include an old tower house on the top and beach scenes, houses and railroad cars around the sides.
The box measures 1 1/2 inches across the base with the top being a bit larger and it stands 1 inch tall. Presented in a satin-lined, cream-colored gift box measuring 3 1/2 inches square, it's accompanied by its original, multi-page descriptive booklet. The enameled box is in untouched, like-new condition, as are the gift box and booklet. It's a special gift for collectors of enamel boxes, for Anglophiles and for Bay Head residents...or for your very own.
