Photographs Original Framed Kitchen Decor Artist's Proofs

Michael Craven (1955-2019) was a well-known commercial photographer, owner of Michael Craven Fine Photography on Johns Island, South Carolina. His photographs were always conceptually original and often displayed his sense of humor. These three photos are excellent examples.

Each of the photographs is in color and marked "AP" for Artist's Proof. The top one is titled "Locks and Bagels," copyrighted 1997. The center photo is "Cereal Killing," copyrighted 1996.
The bottom photo, "Punkin' Donuts" was copyrighted in 1999. All this information was handwritten by the artist in pencil and signed "Michael Craven" in his script at bottom right.

The back of the piece bears the stamp of his business, along with notations by Craven of the copyright dates and "All Rights Resv'd." The artwork is framed in 5/8 inch wide metal, 1 1/4 inches deep, with a Plexiglass cover and a hanging wire installed on the back. The overall measurements are 20 1/4 inches tall by 10 1/4 inches wide. The piece weighs 3 pounds and is in excellent
condition, ready to hang and enjoy.
